Hi Emma, My daughter loves your designs and of course I do too - so nice to have some other choices that are not pink and don't feature unicorns/princesses etc. My daughter is a wee goth in training so we've had to go for the black & grey options, although I would have chosen brighter colours myself.  She also LOVES running and is faster than most of the boys in her class so the "I run like a girl" hoodie is just perfect for her - she'll be wearing it to athletics all through the winter. I'll post a wee review on your FB page & I have recommended your products to other friends.  I love that it's a local company too! Keep up the good work. All the best

Our giftee loves the purple 💜 "though she be but little..." T shirt so much that she sleeps in it during school term and lives in it in the holidays. It's so soft, isn't boxy, and having a girl on it that looks like her - down to the plaits- is a delight. Please could you make long sleeved tops?

 I love what you're doing. My now 16 year old used to choose boys tshirts when she was little as she preferred superheroes and dinosaurs to princesses and fairies. I love that there now seem to be companies offering more choice of theme and colour. Love your last line - there certainly are "so many ways to be a girl".

Just wanted to say my girls really love them. They have been annoyed so much in the past that in many shops they have to go to the “boys” section to find fun t shirts but with this website they can’t decide which of these t shirts they want most.. We will still buy unisex stuff, stuff from the “boys section”, stuff from car boots, charity shops, off facebook marketplace etc but these are a special treat for them as they get older and enjoy funny quotes / just cool pictures which make them smile. The bright colours make them stand out in a crowd which is handy at parks and they’ve washed well so I’m happy too!

My purchase is for my (tall!) 11 year old niece- she loves science! My other niece of 4 has a birthday coming up and I will get a different one for her- she’s a feisty girl already and so some of your designs are ideal! I’m looking forward to seeing the atom t shirt on my eldest niece. It’s always nice to find a gift that’s a little bit different.

Hi Emma, I really love and appreciate what you are doing. I was raised by strong feminist women, even though they probably would not have used that term. They lived, daily, the struggles and discrimination that so many women and girls know.  I have two feisty and spirited young granddaughters. Your message to them and all young girls and women, is powerful and still much needed.

I have 2 lovely nieces and my best friend's daughter to inspire with your t-shirts so I'm hoping i'll be a regular customer - they are such a relief from the high street messages for girls Actually, I visited my nieces last weekend and the younger was wearing the 'follow your own star' t-shirt that i had bought the older in my previous order. It's clearly well-loved and shared so it prompted me to revisit for the next bday.

Thanks Emma. It’s lovely to support a small business with a personal touch. I was delighted with the t shirts for my granddaughter so I ordered more for my other granddaughter who lives abroad. As a long standing feminist, it’s great to have access to your products for my little heroes in the making. I can’t tell you how infuriated I feel by societal boxes for children (and adults) which often limit their dreams or make them feel they’re not “right” somehow. So thanks for your efforts. Cheers.

Hi Emma, Just to let you know that our order arrived today and although I haven’t seen them yet my wife is absolutely raving about how wonderful they are! We ordered some for our neighbours children as presents for their birthdays but she is not able to wait to give them as she is thrilled by the quality and how they look.

I was so pleased with the ones for my granddaughters.  Ordered some for the daughters.  Hope to get a family photo will them all together and will send it to you. Ps. I have heard 4 year old saying 'girls can do anything ' while she was wearing her new t-shirt. Great result

I ordered the two t shirts for my daughter in law and granddaughter.  They are in the USA and so I've not seen them for nearly two years which is a challenge, to say the least.  So I'm delighted to give them these t shirts for their birthdays - my son and daughter in law do a great job raising their girl to know she's loved and valued and has all the options in the world, so I think they'll love these!

My granddaughter has just received her surprise parcel of these two t-shirts and is so happy with them! She is having to miss sports day as her teacher tested positive meaning her group has to isolate, so the parcel was very timely!

The T shirts are on their way to Canada to our twin granddaughters who are 7 years old. I am sure our son will supply pics once they arrive!

I just wish Scarf Monkey T shirts had been available when I was a child - I was labelled a tomboy because I wanted to do the things that boys were doing. They had so much more fun and opportunities. I may have to buy your 'Well-behaved women' T shirts for myself!

Just wanted to say what a fab website and company idea you have. I'll be buying these t shirts for all my daughter friends. My daughter loves Cyclo cross racing and doing Triathlons and there are far few girls doing outdoor sports. These T shirts are awesome.

Delighted to revisit and order again- love your t-shirts.  My original purchase was for my great neice, and then her mum my  neice was so thrilled with your website, I got her one too. The latest purchase is for my partner. But I did wonder if you would ever consider making smaller t-shirts for really little ones. Hi Emma. My order arrived yesterday and my Partner was so impressed he asked me to order a couple of tee shirts for his Granddaughter for her 9th birthday - hence the new order! Because I got the order delivered to my office, half the staff demanded to see what was in my delivery, so I showed them too! You might yet end up with some more orders from this side of the world! I work for a mining company and we are trying desperately to recruit more girls - and its messages/products like yours that inspire the next generation. Oh - and LOVE that the order arrived in a cheeky, but funky and best of all - biodegradable bag!!

Thanks so much for the lovely email - it's not often that happens when you buy something! I couldn't resist replying to say how impressed we were with your t-shirts and their messages. I have two nieces and I am forever trying to find presents that don't emphasise appearance, or are made of cheap plastic, so these are just fab. I'll be sending the link to my equally feminist friends too I'll work up to the more political statements when I'm able to see them and chat about it with them too. We were also very impressed that diversity is reflected in your models. We both work in the areas of inclusion and social justice so this was quite a find for us!
